WEBSITE + STOCK

Having a product listed on our website does not mean we carry it in stock, this website is designed to showcase what we offer and some products will need to be ordered. We would always recommend getting in contact and checking with us before making any special journeys, or bragging to your friends you are about to pick up the latest 150” Ultra HD TV.

Whilst we will do our best to keep this web site up to date and accurate, mistakes do happen and we are only human! We can't be held responsible for any out of date or incorrect information including, but not limited to, pricing, technical specifications or promotions.

COOKIES

The website collects cookies to help remember preferences to make your experience of our site a better one. Continued use of our site gives implied consent to this use of cookies. You can normally adjust your cookie settings in your browser settings if you want to. We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs.

PERSONAL INFORMATION USAGE

If you supply us with any information, e-mail addresses when you sign up for our newsletter for example, we don’t sell it onto anyone else. We will be the only people who bother you with our very informative and worth reading e-mails, and if for some reason you don’t want to receive them any more just let us know and we will take you off the list.

We have to collect some personal information if you order from us, including your name, address and contact details. These are collected to allow us to process and deliver your order, keep you up to date with the progress of your order, let you know about new products, services and offers (only with you permission), and to provide service and support of your product or installation.

We do not store credit card details on our servers these are processed directly by the credit card processing companies.

As stated above we will never sell or rent your data to anyone, however to complete your purchase it may be necessary to share your details with our delivery partners, payment service providers, manufacturers (in the case of direct delivery or warranty registration). In the future we may need to share your information with service engineers if you require under warranty repairs.

You can opt out of marketing contact at any time by e-mailing us at info@auractv.co.uk. Once you do this, we will update your profile to ensure that you don’t receive further marketing messages. Please note that we will update our systems as quickly as we can but you may still get messages from us while we process your request. Stopping marketing messages will not stop communications in regards to orders or customer related issues.

In processing your order we may send your details to, and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies. We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to government institutions and authorities except if required or allowed by law (for example where reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances).

We retain a record of your personal information in order to provide you with a high quality and consistent service. We will always retain your information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and never retain your information for longer than is necessary. 

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

ORDERING + WARRANTIES

This is a transactional website, if you would like to place an order please get in contact with us or place it via the website. Payment for all goods must be made in advance. If there is going to be a delay in getting your product you will be notified and given the option to continue with the purchase or not.

The standard warranty new products will come with is a 1 year warranty. Some manufacturers may offer extended warranties. Any additional offered by the manufacturer may need to be activated via registering with them, failure to comply with any requirements for warranty registration including time limits may result in you only being covered by the standard warranty. Unless otherwise stated goods are only warranted for domestic use.  Goods must be used for the purpose for which they are designed and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. See manufactures terms and warranty terms for specific information.

DELIVERY

Please note that at this time we are only offering local delivery, which is free on orders over £100 to the following post codes:

If you are outside of these areas and would like a delivery please get in contact to arrange.

Most deliveries will take 2-5 working days from point of order unless otherwise stated, if there will be a delay beyond this in delivering your order we will contact you to let you know. As some products will be delivered direct from suppliers we can't guarantee the stock availability listed on this site.

Delivery could either be made via one of our own teams or via a courier service. Where tracking information is available we will send it to you.

We can offer an enhanced delivery service at the time of your choosing, please get in contact for details.

At the moment most delivery companies will only be offering a doorstep delivery service, this includes flats where they will only deliver to the front door of a block of flats, not to the flat door. If this will be an issue please contact us. 

It is your responsibility to check your order at the point of delivery for shortages or obvious damage and to make note of this on the carrier's consignment paperwork when you sign for them. If you are unhappy to accept the goods for any reason please refuse the delivery and contact us on 01403 784193 as soon as possible. You must report any shortages or damage within 24hrs of taking delivery. If this is not done we are unable to assist.

Please note that we reserve the right not to deliver an order if we believe the address is not secure, for example to a communal postal address, PO Box or freight forwarding address. If this affects an order you place, we'll notify you as soon as possible. We have additional procedures in place to ensure our customers are protected from on-line fraud. You may, therefore, be contacted before your delivery date so that these checks can be fully carried out. We may place orders temporarily on hold if we are not able to reach you so please ensure suitable telephone number(s) are provided. We would not contact you via email in this instance.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

We will sometime link to other websites, or embed content from external sites such as YouTube. We have no control over these sites and so cannot be held responsible for anything on them or your protection when using them. Linking to a website is not a recommendation from us or an endorsement.

RETURNS

For online and phone purchases

If you wish to cancel your order for a full refund you have the right to do so, providing you notify us in writing of your intention within 14 days of the day after delivery. Please notify us by Email: info@auractv.co.uk

The goods must be returned in the original box and internal packaging and not have been installed. Please be aware that we cannot accept any returns that are not sufficiently packaged. Furthermore, we will not be liable for any damage caused in transit due to insufficient packaging, and, should this occur, the item will be returned back to the customer with no refund.

Any goods supplied must then be returned at your own expense, within 14 days of your notice to cancel to us at: Aurac Sound + Vision, 33 High Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9PP.

We are able to arrange an insured collection if requested. *Please note - costs vary according to the size and weight of the item*. An indication of costs are listed below, however please contact us for exact charges:

• Televisions - Up To 32" £25
• Televisions - Over 32" £50
• Small Audio / Headphones / Other Accessories £10 / £25

Providing the goods are returned complete with all accessories (including any free gifts supplied) you will receive a full refund within 14 days of our receipt of the goods. We are unable to accept back unwanted gifts or non-faulty items if more than 14 days after the delivery date have passed. If your item is faulty please contact us regarding a repair.


If items are returned missing original factory packed accessories you will be charged for their replacement. The following prices are for guidance only, actual prices vary between manufacturers.

• Lead - £5 to £30, SD Card, Memory Stick Etc - £5 to £100
• Mains Adaptor / Charger - £30 to £50
• Rechargeable Battery - £30 to £50
